Once again it's time to enter our Annual Holiday Pet Photo Contest! Our 2006 Contest was such a roaring success we've decided to make it an annual event. The rules are simple, the official entry form is easy to fill out. So, dig into your photo archives and find the best winter holidays shot of your pet to enter in our Annual Pet Photo Contest!

RULES AND CRITERIA
Please read our simple rules.
Not following these simple rules and criteria could cause you to have an automatic disqualification!

The main objective: Your pet must display or wear something in its' photo that designates it is Christmas, a winter seasonal Holiday, Hanukkah or Kwanzaa celebration, etc., that is normally associated with that time of year. Acceptable entries can wear a costume, be posed in a holiday setting or whatever creative idea you can come up with to celebrate the holidays. No exceptions!
Photos do not have to be recent. They can be your choice from any year you choose.
Photos submitted in past contests are ineligible. You may, however submit a photo of the same pet in a different pose, costume or backdrop.
Only one photo per pet entry please. Do not send us multiple photos of the same pet!
All entries must fill out our official entry form and send it via email and a separate email with their photo entry attachment. Please be thorough about comments on your entry. They will be used on our web site if your pet wins.
Deadline for entries is midnight November 27, 2008.
The decision of our judges is final.
By submitting an official entry form and your pet's photo you are giving us permission to display the photo on our website and in our free E-Cards as long as we see fit. (usually one year)
We will not accept any entries which display nudity, vulgar language, illegal activities or anything which does not reflect our standards of maintaining a family oriented site. No Exceptions!
Entries must be taken by you or someone in your family. No obviously professional photos allowed.
The pet shown in the photo must be owned by you or have the owner's permission for you to take the photo.
No completely computer generated photos allowed. Pet must be a real, live pet and props must be something you have created. We will allow computer photo editing software to be used for frames or borders to create a Christmas card "look."
We reserve the right to edit photo sizes so that they will be "web-ready" for faster loading. Entries should be no larger than 500 kb's, if possible.
You must be 18 years of age to enter your pet in our contest. If you are under 18 you must have your parents permission to enter our contest. We have provided a space on our official entry form for parents or legal guardians to sign. We must have your parent or legal guardian's permission because of federal laws against sites which troll for minors' emails or private information!

CRITERIA - IMPORTANT!

Our judges will be looking for well-planned photos which display time and effort in creation. Pets will be judged on their charm, personality and especially their rapport with the camera. Consideration will be given for novel or unusual ideas and the amount of work each entry devoted to getting the best photo possible. There are no restrictions on what type of pet you have.
