Gypsy the
red Chihuahua, the bride in our wedding of the year, proudly
models her designer bridal gown. Her stunning one-of-a-kind
wedding gown and headpiece are the exclusive design and
creation of Sylvia Woolwine her owner. The wedding gown in
white slipper satin features a bodice accented with seed
pearls and flower petal motifs, puffed sleeves accented with
toile caps and a split front hemline designed for ease of
movement when she walked down the aisle. Her wedding gown
ensemble was completed with a full cathedral length wedding
veil attached to a Camelot style headpiece accented with
Swarovski crystals, seed pearls and matching flower petal
designs too match her bridal gown.
Gypsy seemed to enjoy wearing her wedding
gown very much which is evident in her wedding photos where
her relaxed and beaming expression shines through in all her
poses from the wedding album. Sylvia, her owner and the
designer said she enjoyed designing and sewing this
particular ensemble for Gypsy more than any others displayed
on this website. The wedding gown and veil have been
properly stored and preserved for her family to treasure for
years to come as well as all the wonderful wedding photo
entries sent in by our Wedding Photo Contest entrants.
Gypsy's wedding to Max in 2004 was truly a memorable event
for everyone involved

For "something
blue" (for luck) the Bride wore a handmade
garter created by Bonnie Foster of Troutville.
Virginia. Unfortunately the groom, in his haste
to toss the garter to his groomsmen, removed it
from the Bride's lovely leg before we could get
a picture of her wearing it! So, we had to
settle for a close-up of the cute garter
featuring blue and white rosettes on gathered
blue satin and sheer tulle. A gold "G" with a
pink rhinestone rests in the center of the
garter personalizing this very special creation
for our Gypsy. Thank you Bonnie for this
wonderful and treasured gift to Gypsy on her
wedding day!
