This is Gypsy's
friend
Caramelo who is a smooth coated red and white bi-color Chihuahua. He's
only a year old in these pictures, but he's already a world
traveler! This is our first installment of Caramelo's World Tour,
featuring Caramelo's Chihuahua pictures of his world travels
beginning in Central America in the country of Guatemala. . .
 |
|
Touring the jungles of Northern
Guatemala,
our young explorer came across the pyramids and the lost City of Tikal.
He ran like a maniac among the Spider Monkeys and the Toucans. (but always on a
leash)

 |
|
From there, he took
a boat ride down river past old Spanish fortresses
to the city of Livingstone . . .
 |
From
there, he crossed the country to end up on the Pacific Coast
with all that intriguing black sand. (which still hasn't been
completely removed from those sail-like ears) Finding little
treasures like bits of sugarcane made it all worthwhile! . . .

|
After a long
and fun-filled two weeks the little explorer
was ready for a good night's sleep with his
adoring Mommy Coco . . .
These
wonderful vacation Chihuahua pictures and
the short story were sent to us by
Caramelo's owner, Coco Palenque. They
live in Pinecrest, Florida along with Coco's
husband and a newly acquired black and white
bi-color Chihuahua named Domino.
Caramelo's name is Spanish for "a small
piece of candy". I found this little guy to
be so charming and photogenic that I just
had to build a page around his world-wide
exploits.
