The star, always arriving in good taste and style, said
she was wearing a design this year by Donatella
Verdoggie, her favorite.
Gypsy breezed through her interview on the runway with
Joan Rivers where she coyly sent her regards to "Spike".
As she entered the grand auditorium all eyes were on
the small town girl who really wowed them at the box office this year in
her portrayal of the brash, but gutsy Erin
Chihuahuavich.
It was a night to remember as Gypsy and her closest
Hollywood friends made the rounds afterward at all the best Oscar balls,
Galas and parties. She was seen dancing with this year's winner for Best
Actor Jack Russell Crowe. "We're just
friends", she demurely replied when asked about the rumors that they were
an 'item'.
Earlier Gypsy was an award presenter for Best Foreign
Language Film which went to Crouching Tiger,
Hidden Chihuahua starring Chow Chow
Yun Fat.
PETPEOPLE MAGAZINE
reports Gypsy was spotted also at Ridley Scottie
Terrier's table at one gala along with such luminaries as
Great Dane Judy Dench and
Francis McDoberman. Best
supporting Actor winner Benji Del Toro was seen hugging the actress affectionately and whispering something
secret in her lovely ear. Could it be the start of a new romance?
The night seemed magical as star after star
congratulated Gypsy on her performance.
Juliette Bichon Frise΄ put it best when she said, "We all love
and respect Gypsy for her past performances, but this year she showed us
all what scope and character she truly has!"
She glided across the dance floor in the arms of
Steven Soderbark while strains
of music played from her favorite musical score, "Lady and The Tramp". She
was a vision of beauty and gracefulness for all the canine world to see!
When asked if she was working on any new projects, the
actress responded, "yes, I am very excited to be involved in a remake of
the classic Joan of Barc. It will be
directed by the great Steven Spanielburg.
My leading man will be Joaquin Pugnix.
Gypsy has certainly reached the pinnacle of success
this year and we wish her all the best in what is sure to be a long,
diverse and legendary career!
