Combine eggs and sugar and beat with electric mixer till fluffy. Stir in flour and melted butter and mix well. Pour batter into greased and floured 9x13" baking pan and bake at 350° for 30 minutes. Set warm cake aside.
Mix topping ingredients and heat only over medium-low heat. (do not boil) Simmer for a few seconds. Spread topping over warm cake and place under broiler till bubbly. Do not burn topping! This takes only a few seconds and topping will be a slightly golden-brown color. Remove from broiler immediately and allow cake to cool entirely in pan. Topping will form a crisp caramel-like glaze when it cools. Cut into squares for serving.

1 bottle champagne, pink or white
1 quart 7-Up®
1 bottle Sauterne wineMix all liquids and pour over ice block or ring in punch bowl. If white champagne is used, add a few drops of Grenadine for color.
